I made this on a night when I wanted something warm and easy, and it turned out really balanced — light broth, a little sweetness from the cabbage, and enough pork to make it feel like a full meal. Writing it down so I can make it again.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 container Trader Joe’s Miso Ginger Broth (32 oz)
- 2–3 cups water
- 3–4 cups shredded cabbage (Napa or green)
- 12 oz ramen noodles
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
Instructions
- Brown the ground pork in a large pot.
- Add ginger and garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage and let it wilt.
- Pour in the miso ginger broth and soy sauce.
- Add 2–3 cups water to keep the broth light.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Add the ramen noodles and cook until tender.
- Adjust seasoning if needed.
